When people ask about the milestones that shaped my career as a founder, they often expect the big ones: funding rounds, product launches, revenue numbers, partnerships. Those are important, of course. But the truth? The biggest shifts didn’t come from the headline moments.
They came from the quieter ones.
The “small wins” that, at the time, didn’t even feel like victories. A follow-up email. A 30-minute break. A casual coffee. Looking back, those moments stacked up to make a bigger difference than I could have imagined.

The Follow-Up That Changed Everything
Early in my journey, I nearly let a client slip away. We had pitched, we had waited, and then there was silence. I assumed the answer was no. But something nudged me to write one more follow-up, not pushy, just genuine.
That single email turned into a conversation. The conversation turned into a deal. And that deal turned into a long-term relationship that fueled growth for years.
